Join me on Monday April 14 at 7:00 PM on Womens Voices as I interview Elizabeth Anne Jones, a pioneer, leading educator, healer, formulator, and advocate in the field of therapeutic essential oils and integrative medicine. Elizabeth, a graduate of the California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville, California, has studied with top aromatherapists around the world. She has had a 30 year private aromatherapy practice, and her retail company, Elizabeth Van Buren, Inc. provides aromatherapy products to practitioners, spas, hospitals, massage schools, hospices, and nurses. In 1997 Elizabeth founded the College of Botanical Healing Arts in Santa Cruz, California, offering a comprehensive program of live classes in aromatherapy. Her book Awaken to Healing Fragrance has recently been published by North Atlantic Books, Berkeley.
A member of the educational committee of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), Elizabeth has been a featured speaker at the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and has published articles in numerous alternative health publications. In addition, she is a contributor to The World of Aromatherapy, edited by Jeanne Rose and Susan Earle (Frog, Ltd. 1996).
